Exclamation Tips for FE/TMO

If disagreement and differences characterize the meaning of guild drama - how do we avoid it? The simple answer is that we can not. However, it can be minimized and it all begins at the top. If there is anything that has yet to be exemplified to your corps of fellow officers, it should be that identifying potential guild drama and squashing it before it ever begins is essential in their duty and purpose. Your officers need to set the example for the rest of the guild – meaning they, themselves, should never become the source of guild drama; rather, they should be the resolution. Part of an officer’s ‘job description’ should include some variation of ‘damage control’. It should be reminded to them early and often that they set the standard for how the rest of the guild behaves and operates. If an officer is always complaining about the level of guild drama – but is the first to engage in the latest ‘juicy’ topic that your guild is fretting over, they are not well-suited for an officer position.

Another key in avoiding guild drama is communication among your members. This can be seen on a larger scale by keeping your members informed on the daily and weekly guild news and happenings. More importantly, it should be utilized on a smaller scale by highly discouraging the making of assumptions while stressing communication with the appropriate sourc(es) about the topic in question.

How many FE/TMO officers contantly post bullshit on this forum? Quite a bit. Stop acting like little kids and take your petty drama elsewhere.

Forums are a great place for drama. Especially sub forums labeled Rants, Flames, and NSFW. Considering the only pay off you get for the ridicules amount of work it takes to run a top raiding guild is bragging rights, what do you expect?
There's one dragon hundreds of players want to kill. There will be drama. There is nothing that will prevent this.
