People want things to be good, liberal idiology is good. It's a want for things to be nice and great.

So it makes a lot of sense that people would tend to like it.

Especially in an age where they have to fight less and less to stay alive.

10000 years ago a liberal would just be left to rot while the tribe would fight against impossible odds to survive.

But now, we're getting close to a point where you may not have to fight to survive at all.

What are the options? Kill ourselves to avoid that so we have to fight to survive because we think without doing that satan wins?

All of those things are already eminently possible for all citizens of the US. Poor african immigrants come to this country and become incredibly wealthy year after year. Please see statistics regarding immigrants from ghana and somalia.

Your goal will never be achieved though because your criteria are so nebulous.

"We could do the thing where everything is good for everybody". That will never be the case, that is called utopia and it is not attainable; it's a fantasy. The soviet union tried it, china tried it, venezuela tried it, cuba tried it and the list goes on and on. There's a reason the world's poor are scrambling to come to the US though, because it's the closest we've ever gotten to good conditions for the largest number of people.

Did you know you're not even ALLOWED to be an accredited investor if you dont make 200k a year. Because too many poor people owning stock and businesses can crash the economy for the rich people... They are the only ones privileged to crash the economy and make big investments. They are allowed to bet the farm. You're not.

To be fair, this is a mischaracterization of the AI standard and the rationale behind it. First, you don’t need to be an AI to buy many public stocks.

The AI standard applies to private funds and private stocks. And the reason it exists is that the SEC wants to ensure people with less money are more protected so that they don’t go out and buy into higher risk situations. The idea is that someone below the AI threshold is 1. Less financially able to bear the risk of the loss of their investment and 2. Potentially less sophisticated from a financial knowledge standpoint and therefore might not be able to fully analyze the investment and it’s risks. The AI standard isn’t some scheme by the rich to keep themselves as the only people able to buy private stocks and funds...trust me; as an example, the rich want as many people as possible to be able to buy shares in their hedge funds haha

Cause the people who crashed the economy every other time were so smart and protected america and themselves from ruin, right? People with more money are allowed to be less protected, invest more, and get a bigger return. Always keeping them ahead of those making less. In the end, who always wins?
