From my experience at the east portal room, any named can pop from a "named ph" except for DS and the mortiferous protector. My rarest has been the undertaker lord. It would appear that the mortiferous protector can spawn from any of the static golems in east.

Cool, so the spot that I fight at can spawn everything I still need from east. I killed crypt excavator yesterday (no helm), but after the fight I realized I still had cleric buffs from Daire rezzing me up earlier. I'm pretty confident they didn't make the difference in the fight, but since I pulled him with ivu+rune+proxy aggro and I did have one charm break, I can't say for sure that the extra AC from cleric buffs didn't cause me to avoid a bash that would have gotten me killed during the pull or the recharm. And to think that Loraen was skeptical I'd be able to get into the challenge quickly when I first PMed him about it 5-6 months ago! He probably just underestimated how unemployed and worthless I am in RL [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I actually have been slow the last week or two though, kinda settled into a farming mood in south and crypt. I moved a druid alt to solb to watch for named giants though, and probably one day this week I'll put in at least 3-4 hours in east to see if I can catch more nameds over there.

I really like how each mob you have done has a link from your list to the post describing the kill, I might have to do that.

I was bored in HS south one day earlier this week and set about to doing that. I figured since I put the sheet in my sig now (yeah, I'm proud of my solo work!), and this thread is pretty huge, I might as well link things up.

[x] A cliff golem [57 Warrior, The Overthere]

An enchanter friend and I decided to start on the duo challenge, and he wanted to do cliff golems in OT, so away we went. We pulled the cliff on the southern entrance to the outpost, and along came two dragoons with it...I wanted to zone but my counterpart thought he had it under control. Soon he charmed a dragoon, and had it attack the other dragoon.

You can see the cliff golem running towards us, so I came and got it rooted, maloed, and slowed as while his pet killed off the other dragoon. Then it was time to have some fun with the golem.

Was a pretty straight forward fight, I was even able to land my epic dot a couple of times, as well as my poison dot. Pretty straight forward!

Oh shit! I forgot it enrages! Pet is dead, and mob is at 10%...I land epic dot and my poison dot to finish it off.
