I think I'm glad that I can play with this player who will probably appreciate the spot in a group and provide useful cc/stuns or well timed nukes. I also think hey it's 2017 if I'm still grinding eq I can probably afford not to min max. I also hope that the wiz has good typing skills because they will have plenty of down time to make smart remarks and witticisms that are 1000% more important to my experience than grouping with another autistic fungi ogre

You may think these people min/maxing EQ in 2017 are playing wrong, but they are actually also Ferrari driving young doctors with 8 super model girlfriends and an extensive background in pro bono human rights legal cases.

They are just as competitive and min max in reality as they are in Norrath. The extensive drug references at 3 AM in the morning is just subtle irony as they are on call for hospital work.

I do believe wizards are OK, when they show some personality and actually engage the group with some sort of chat. There is nothing worse than an autistic wizard that refuses to say a word in the group though.

Usually the non-social wizards are the ones that constantly ninja-afk, never root mobs, and might stand and nuke once every 3-4 mobs. The only time you hear them speak is when they type they need to log, which usually isn't until after you left the group because they sit in groups for 8-10 hours leeching as long as they possibly can for XP.

I aint griefing him. I just was poking fun at Swish's whiteknight post.

But, must admit it's good to know a persons history ingame regardless where or what game it was. Typically this behavior will follow them elsewhere.

I wish him nothing but the best though. This server is fun, lots of fun people who don't deserve shitty behavior in the game. Hope all that stays on Agnarr.

I even like wizards if they are enjoyable to group with, but I got to admit the class is not the best in groups and the majority of the players on wizards rarely play the class to it's limited potential in groups.
