May have exaggerated slightly but we had like 200 people in seb on Xegony and you could walk from ent to about anywhere with no mobs in sight.

If I could have just killed a mob in 1 draught when it went for gate every time, it wouldn't have been an issue, would it?

Trakanon gate was a very real problem too, and hopefully, it is here now.

Lol I posted evidence of a 20% gate in numerous cases, not just Trakanon.

Esorpa of the Ring has her own special gate mechanics and she will gate I think as high as 40% even if pulled off her spot.

On a real live server, each NPC has its own encounter table, even if many are almost carbon copies.

For instance, if max resist is 255, how can Phinny be immune to lure of ice? Answer: he is flagged as a "water encounter" type of NPC. Who knows wtf is going on here.
I never said there was a blanket rule set for every npc. There was not a dragon that ever gated at 20% on live through Kunark. It would make the encounter way too easy if that were the care. We very rarely if EVER had a dragon gate on us in FOH. Trakanan did a few times in the early days which caused some problems though.

Sneak/Hide, Buffs, Druid spells is another example of being wrong right now.

Man you keep talking about stuff that you just don't know.

Trakanons gate was an issue on live for sure but only in the beginning when every fight was close and the dps would die. But it wasn't due to the 20% thing it was due to the mobs regen 1600hp every tick. Making dragons gate at 20% makes them a ton easier.

Also dragons are using weapons here. They always clawed on live and never quaded in Kunark.

who cares if trakanon gates anyway, as i understand it mobs don't gate within 75 feet of their spawn point and everyone kills him at his spawn point. Whats to complain about?
