Bump, Up and running with old tutorial...

Crashes about 10-15 in game.[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] If Mac has a fresh restart I can play longer.

Having similar issues, 2013 macbook pro with 8g ram.
followed the guide, pretty sure i did it right.
Start up p1999 and no window opens. the program shows up on my dock, but thats it.

Hello. I'm on a mac, and I did all of the steps, including the "[Defaults]
WindowedModeXOffset=1
WindowedModeYOffset=1
WindowedMode=TRUE
[VideoMode]
Width=1024
Height=768
WidthWindowed=1024
HeightWindowed=768
WindowedWidth=1024
WindowedHeight=768
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0" things. I tried updating it many times, but no matter what it does, it stays on the dock for about three seconds and then simply quits. Could I please have some advice/help?

Having the same problems with a brand new retina display macbook pro. Any updates or ideas?

Followed the guide exactly and the program shows at the bottom of the dock but does not display anything on the screen. Any help would be appreciated!!
