This is a very cliquish server (I played on it for years in Temerity). The community is extremely reactionary and conservative. Stuff like e-racism won't pass as witty repartee like it will elsewhere, you'll just get banned from their forums and be made a pariah. When I played on it the demographics were a lot different than on PC. There's a lot more couples and older people and so it wasn't as testosterone poisoned.

Truth is if you want to play here you should probably play it quiet and try not to butt heads with the natives. They have a pocket dev who has built a relationship with some of the players over years. There's no skin off his nose if he has to ban people who aren't even subscribers.

Regardless it's all pointless as Hobart will likely ban PC clients in the next launchpad.

This is what most of the natives are hopeing for and pressureing Hobart to do and keep doing to keep the penniless basement dwellers away.

Already there is language and trolling on the eqmac forums and ingame that the server has not seen in 7 years.

Most are also trying to convince sony to reinstante some sort of subscription and creditcard check to keep all these hacking bums out.
