Killing him doesn't bug the script anyways, someone killed him before I could do my tun in and I had to spend 14 hours killing ph. When he popped he was working fine and required no script resetting or whatever.
Actually it creates a 75% chance of breaking his script. The issue is the 'correct' brother balatin has to spawn, to work correctly without a script reload.

The next time balatin is up, I should be able to fix him with commands, to make him unkillable.

so instead of taking the time to fix it the right way, you're wasting time making a killable mob unkillable? hey but this is "Classic Everquest" per the logo!

I think they only ever said this was classicish eq.. not pure classic.


but it seems a reasonable thing.. peoples big concern isn't killing him for items / quest.. but just to prevent others from finishing the quest.

You are not a customer and this is not a business, it's a hobby and you're a guest. If it weren't for people "wasting" time, none of us would have a server to play on.

It is 'fixed the right way'. That requires a patch to be updated. What i offered was a way for the currently multi-bugged npc to work properly.

Not only is it a 2 hour spawn, but it has a 75% chance of being broken when the named actually spawns.

So stfu.
