yeah its a recurring idea more and more these days that the majority of all the issues we have are exacerbated by the fact that we don't have to chase a deer for 10 miles in order to eat dinner, and we don't have to fight off mountain lions to keep the meal we caught.
back in those days we didn't give a fuck about politics or race or sexual orientation, we didn't have the spare energy to spend giving a fuck about those things.
so few of us understand that we're really only 200 years out of the wilderness, only 200 years domesticated out of 300,000 years of existing as homo sapien.
