Dunno much about guns, my gun has still never been fired once

But I've always liked the look of revolvers, that was my fav gun as a kid. It would be cool to own one, despite them seeming impractical as a type of gun for someone who also doesn't have much to do with guns. But I'd have to have piles of disposable income before I'd ever consider it

It's not literal. Gunfighting is just two people skilled at debate going at it. Just having fun here.

Anyway.. to answer your question

You don't need to spend a fortune to get your feet wet, heck.. spend a few at the range and fire different guns for a weekend hobby. Not much money and you'll get a feel for it.

Revolvers are dirt-level practical, if you are a true-noob then its the best to start with because problem-solving them is simple too. Magazine-fed pistols are more complicated and require more problem-solving.

No hate, its like asking an old trucker a question like "What is the best diesel engine for a big truck?" and he will look at you and should respond with "Depends on what you are using it for."

But understand, like how a mans steak is cooked, you will get a lot of cross-fire opinions.

Myriad of thoughts..

Big revolver
Small revolver
Short Revolver
Long Revolver
What Caliber

The reason I recommend using the range and testing guns to your hearts-content is, well.. if you are anything like me once you get into a hobby that interests you then it gets very costly because I want to see and try everything (use the range). Edit: I forget you might not be aware but usually if a Gun Shop has a range on site they will let you rent a gun, under a range supervisor, and try them out.

I had big computer cases (Cooler Master Stackers) to small form-factor (Shuttle PC) to "Theme Builds" like what I currently run. You know, once a hobby becomes you and all that.

Never been much of a collector, so if I were to ever get one it would be only 1 of that type

Renting to test seems like the way to go

I keep a few things from each hobby when I go through them. I still have my Shuttle PC that I took photos of and shared with an online messageboard for the first time.

honestly owning a gun and never training is worse than not owning one at all

honestly not having a gun properly locked up and the ammo in a separate place also locked up when there is a young child in the house is worse.

And if both are properly locked up then there is no means to get a gun to protect yourself in the proper time.

So therefore there is no reason to have a gun in the home ever when there is a young child in the house.

Yeah so if you guys have kids in the house you wanna protect, I guess you're just screwed?

Makes no sense. I had no interest in owning a firearm until I had kids. Now I have something worth protecting and defending.

No I think it's more a backlash against Trump. Trump-backed and fervent Trump-supporting candidates did not do well. He is toxic to the Republican party.

There was also a large turnout of young voters and they love all that woke crap.

Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates said Thursday during a press conference that the original forecast of 95% to 99% of votes being counted by Friday wouldn’t happen due to the high total of ballots dropped off on Election Day.

“I’m here to tell you the goalposts have changed,” Gates said.
