If you do and you want loot rules to be different than the standard NBG, then clarify that upfront when they join the group. OP here. Happy to clarify.

I arrived to camp just after another guy got his mask, and he decided to leave and I came in to help Pamila break the camp (spread out the spawns to be more manageable).

His claim to have been able to manage the camp solo was proven 3 times throughout that he was unable to. If you wish to confirm this, please message Brunhilda the ogre shaman who was there with us.

I.e. did Pamila just make the mistake of assuming by letting a lower level join her/his group while they soloed the 3 static spawns while he waited in the list for the mask for some XP.

To address this - he was a 47 bard, I was a 47 Bard. Not a lower level, so I didn't come in to mooch as was assumed.

And yea all these comments about lawyerquesting is kind of off point here. Look at the facts of how it went down. Come to your own conclusions.

So 2 bards camping a legacy item that isn't legacy for them, effectively decreasing the # of people who get this item by 2. There are so many layers of retardation and douchebaggery here that I don't even know where to begin.

The only person's word we have on this is one of the aggreived parties. Not reliable without proof. Besides it's meaningless. just like chanter you can get a bad round of luck with bard and get screwed by RNG. Doesn't mean you can't come back and go hours upon hours without another hiccup.

Here's the bottom line without even having to read what they said.

If you can solo a camp then do it and claim the item.

If you can solo a camp but you invite others then everyone should roll.

If you are in a group but claim rights to the item just because you can solo it then you are in the wrong and will get backlash because of it.

I'm not sure if GM's suspend for ninja looting but if someone does this in a group then they should be suspended and considered a ninja. Unless it was initially agreed with screenshots of the text.

ppl mad i got jboots on my bard. it's actually really useful. idk but stats on DE mask kinda nice tho..13CHA and 7MR tho? so am i a douche for wanting it now as opposed to waiting 6 months?

It's hard to explain to people why bard speed is too fast for some things until you've played the class.
