I distributed evenly Dex/Str. I highly doubt your starting stats are going to make or break you come Velious. I sure as hell would not have started over from level 30 because of initial stat allocations, unless I dumped it all into CHA or INT (circa 1999).

I just don't think it matters. You could make case for CHA, honestly. My ranger is my favorite sea fury farmer. Rangers as a class are one of the very best green con killers. Unlimited damage from melee, self haste, DS, and regen. In fact, I rolled a ranger specifically to farm lv 40 mobs in Velious.
