What changes could improve P99?

I'm probably odd for saying so, but the questing mechanism in p1999 is not classic. Classic would allow you to hand in coin in any denomination, totaling the amount requested by the NPC. Fire Opals could be gotten in Sol Ro Temple for 550gp, 55pp, or for 54pp + 9gp + 9sp + 10cp. Multi-questing worked on pretty much everything. I remember testing this on the bear skin quests in Qeynos Hills with a guide. What's more, the currency didn't need to be handed in all at once. In the case of the fire opals, one player could hand in 54pp, then a second player could hand in 1pp and get the fire opal reward.
