NASA seems pretty confident they are going to find alien life with their new James Webb telescope. They supposedly hired 24 theologians to try to figure out how humans are going to deal with the news that we are not the only ones in the universe. I'm sure it will go swimmingly if/when Nasa starts posting images of little green men on an alien planet.

This has gotta be how the 1 world goverment/religion plays out.

First you get the priests and scientists to agree that the aliens are our gods

Then we get the immortal life link brain implant.

Then one sits at the Vatican to rule.

And then Jesus shows up in a square spaceship that lands on the temple mount and all his army of angels flood out and destroy us all
