Default Biochemistry

You folks probably dont know this, but im a biochemist. recently as a side project of mine, ive been looking for a way to actually reanimate dead plants. my goal is to come up with a way to actually reverse the detrimental effects on crops from various plagues.

Sometimes, a chemical is pretty useless until its been metabolized. any living cell creates metabolites as it consumes energy, and in the case of viruses, bacteria, parasites ect. they usually end up in the hosts waste removal systems (i.e urine, feces, sweat) which is why stool and urine samples are often used to test for these sort of things.

Anyway, ive been paying particular attention to the byproducts of hepatitis. specifically hepatitis A and C. these both make present in human waste a particular chemical that bears remarkable similarity to what is effectively a growth stimulator found in most plants. the one naturally occurring in plants is whats responsible for trees having 'scars', or a clipped flower growing from the point where it was cut.

So far, its been a pretty unfruitful endeavor (forgive the pun) but theres still a glimmer of potential there. Ive tested about 2 dozen different plants that ive purchased and allowed to die. none of them have been brought back to where cellular growth occurs. in controlled tests however, and on a much smaller scale, the chemical found in the waste of humans infected with hepatitis A and C have actually jumpstarted individual plant cells, but theres no way to realistically apply my findings thus far. no one is going to manually inject this stuff in the every cell of a dead plant when they could just treat the soil with pesticides/herbicides and plant a new seed. if any of you (because i know some of you actually very well educated in various fields) would be interested in giving me your take on this, it would be greatly appreciated, but as it stands, it looks like hep stool wont heal green things.
