Default Looking at starting on p99

I like melee, out of melee i prefer monks but what are they like on this server? Is it hard to find groups? Whats the economy like, items cost way more than a new person will be able to afford before they reach 50 or 60?

Finding groups? Depends on when you play. In the evening (US) times there are usually a few groups and some solo people running around in the popular zones (oasis, unrest, mistmoore, south karana, etc). Early AM hours there are only about 1/3 the people on though.

Regarding the economy, someone just mentioned this a couple days ago on here. High-end items (fungi tunic, hierophant's cloak, stuff along those lines) are ridiculously expensive, because the server is bloated with PP. But low- and mid-tier gear is actually quite affordable for anyone who knows the right spots to visit to earn some PP.

I receive more unsolicited tells on my monk asking if I want a group than any other class I play.

Most everyone that is high level and normally bored sitting around in tunnel (non raiders) are likely to be working on epics (non raid finishable ones)
