wow, its like a pieced of American history.

This movie, as well as The China Syndrome changed the course of American history for the worse.

It's also a great movie, and Loramin is wrong about it being a "not a bad movie"

Sorry I didnt get you in the pic loramin, but I can assure you, you're in there somewhere [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
I'll have you know that I was convinced that Cool Hand Luke was the better Cuckoo's Nest movie by no less of an authority than the aunt of Trent Reznor (ie. Nine Inch Nails) [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

(Yes, I know that's an appeal to authority, and not even a particularly great authority ... but it's still 100% true.)

>wow, its like a pieced of American history.

yeah, there's gigantic holes in my quintessential american movies viewing.

the 60s and 70s movies i have seen are some of my all time favorites though, The Poseidon Adventure, Ice Station Zebra, Three Days of the Condor

so many great flicks from that era, def need to watch more of them.

I've been catching up on 80's (nerd) classics lately, like Highlander or Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, but I really need to go back to the 70's: I haven't seen any of the movies you listed.

They're on my list now though!

You guys are definitely not the nurses.

This knowledge of psychoactive medicines confirms it.
They're not, but... what do you think nurses do? I don't really want your answer, but it's a number of things. Administration of medication is a big one and you have to know things about "psychoactive medicines" before you give them to people because there's a couple side effects. There's contraindications. Black box warnings. Call the doctor if... Just knowing what the thing does in relation to whether its appropriate for the patient or a seriously bad idea due to a number of factors. Nurses are the last safety check before giving a potentially harmful substance. It's just a point I wanna clarify because knowing things about drugs is inseparable from a nurse's role in healthcare. You seem to think that's not the case. Hope this helps.

Tells the patients family that the doctor couldn't save their loved one, while the doctor drives home in a Porcha.

Have you guys sseen Nightbreed?

This was a surprisingly great movie.

I thought it was like clive barker trying to make a big trouble in little china (and failing miserably but still making something good).
