Cant connect to log in server

When I try to log in to server select, it says a connection to the server could not be reached. When I type in my password it just says logging into the server for a few seconds and then gives the cannot connect message. I unzipped the new patch files alrdy into my directory. Has anyone else had this problem and what can I do to fix it?

I'm having the same issue now. Found some old threads about the same issue and it seems to go away after a) some time has passed or b) the server/s is rebooted.

I've tried reinstalling, using a different install path on C: Nothing has worked, always does the same thing. It's like it cannot connect to the emu servers, even tho my eqhost file says the same thing it always has. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Hopefully you were finally able to get in. About an hour after my post last night I was able to finally log in with on issues. I didn't do anything on my end except wait.
