So I don't pay much attention to server drama, but I was curious about the whole Uthgaard thing. This is my understanding of the situation.

Some person was supposedly testing in VP to get info ahead of time to give TR an advantage. Nevermind that this info is 10 years old and can be found in any one of a hundred places on the internet. This would really only affect 2 guilds currently, and most of us don't give a shit about their petty drama. So Uthgaard calls this person out, with or without real evidence, but in the wrong place. He makes it public instead of keeping it between the server owners. He gets called out on this bs, and rage quits because of perceived favoritism on an issue that the vast majority of the server doesn't care about. Do I have this pretty much correct?

From what I've gathered (not much, I can't play/read boards M-F now), is that he brought the unfair advantage/abuse of Dev powers to the server ownership and they shrugged it off. He "ragequit" because they were doing nothing to uphold the integrity of the server to make it an even playing field.

Having strats/info of 11 year old content is one thing, being able to have a dedicated private server with *exact* simulations of P99 Veeshan's Peak to perfect strats/mechanics before everyone else via your guild leaders devious abuse of Dev powers is another.

Again, this is just what I've come to know in the past 12 hours.

Nilbog/Rogean knew that Xzerion had a test server up to get VP ready. Xzerion used Dev powers to test the VP/Velious content. Uthgaard was not told. Uthgaard suspects Xzerion. Uthgaard calls out Xzerion before discussing with Nilbog/Rogean. Uthgaard causes drama for server admins by releasing chat logs. Server admins are in the know...uthgaard is not. Uthgaard feels he is being undermined and quits.

Just a guess.

Why don't you guys just shut up and keep copying all of our strats? I bet if we started camping our guild in Crypt for Trak you guys would scream we were cheating somehow all the while sitting right on top of us because you have yet to develop a single strat for yourselves.
