Enchanter Religion
So the wiki suggests that all enchanters should always choose to be agnostic.
https://wiki.project1999.com/Enchanter#Religion And it gives some really compelling reasons. However, if I make a high elf agnostic enchanter then I am missing out on things like, Imbued Elven Chainmail and other Tunare only items. Is it worth it? Anyone have more insight into this?

You've already been informed of the reasons to pick agnostic. whether it's "worth it" to go against this is entirely up to you to decide.

Just go Agnostic. In the long run those small perks you get from choosing an actual religion become obsolete.

Being able to worship Innoruuk, Bertoxxulous, Brell, or Cazic Thule as a high elf is almost worth it.

Agnostic = easy life
Religion = added challenge in classic content I play what everyone else does... High Elf, Agnostic. Life is easy this way. However, if I started over though, I'd pick a dark elf and pick evil religion like Inny... for a unique leveling experience. Not so easy to show up in a good town and be hated at the same time. I wonder if there is some race/religion combination for enchanter where you can do the DE mallet quests that seems only available to DE Necro/SK... never tried doing that. I know illusion + Collab isn't enough for them to talk to me. | ||

Elven chainmail gives you chain fashion quest for all races as a caster.

The faction complications don't seem worth the one-time Cool Screenshot Man points.

Some deities don’t seem to really have many negatives to faction. Prexus seems pretty good in that regard.
Personally I like to pick a deity on my toons just to inform how my character feels, and maybe slightly weight what stats my character would value from their gear. Deity is good for inspiration on fluffing out your social macros (perhaps a Tunare enchanter mesmerises by distracting their enemies with a cloud of butterflies). Its mainly there as a RP choice to add a bit of interest (and maybe difficulty) to your character. If you have zero interest in rp or challenge (and why would you in an mmorpg) pick the safe bet of agnostic.
