Dw helm and bp effect?

Do these items still heal you when clicked over and over or was the effect nerfed? Thanks

Yes they both still work. DW Helm is nice because no gem is required but heals half as much. BP heals for 307 but takes a Jasper each cast. I run around with as many Jaspers as I can hold because it is that useful and once you are high enough to click it the cost is covered by vendor trash gems.

I'm curious: Why did you ask? Were these items nerfed later on at some point during EQ's long history?

I was considering starting a pally and a friend of mine said he thought they were nerfed. I’m not sure if they were even nerfed but who knows

DW helm was nerfed, up from 6.0 sec cast to 10.0 second.

This a real nerf and not a Nilbog random /made up nerf but an actual timeline nerf.

Also BP...is approx 2.5x the heal capacity of the helm but costs a Jasper....also p.s. good luck getting a BP atm every nerd has an alt Paladin atm.

Helm is good enough to get you 45-60, infact it makes you a GOD from 45-low 50s and I LOL when I see Paladins grouping in those level ranges.

Why's it funny to see someone grouping, on a group-friendly character, during the level range when the class is at its relative strongest vs level-appropriate content? There's more to EQ besides achieving maximum experience rates.

Gustoo: It isn't just for healing after a battle, it can also be used (in conjunction with root) to heal during a battle and keep going a lot longer than a Paladin could go if he were limited solely by his mana bar. There are other uses for it besides. It works very nicely on a Shaman for example as a means of feeding him health for cannibalize.

Yep, especially since it stacks with fungi, makes it even more powerful, whereas most heal effects are on the chest slot. DW bp still the fastest way to self heal if you dont mind paying for jaspers.
