Influx of new jerks? Or just old jerks emerging recently?

Has anyone noticed in the last 3-4 weeks or so, the influx of jackasses now? From the first time I logged in a year or so ago, till most recently I had more pleasant experiences with the players base.

Now, suddenly over the last few weeks I personally have had more issues over camps, more experiences with players refusing to group others due to class/xp penalty etc., when the class would work just fine in the group... ("We have a cleric, we don't need another healer", when the camp is a lower lvl dungeon and any class would honestly do just fine filling a spot in the group).

I seen a 3 man group in MM, refusing to group anyone else at a major camp spot because "We hold the camp just fine and get better xp this way, why would we invite more?" The truth was, they had mobs sitting up in spot, and when others began to pull them because they would not get invited to the group, the group ragequit and finally left... But, why?

I could list many other situations, but this stuff really didn't seem that prevalent when I first started on the server. Was I just lucky before, or is there indeed an increase in trolling/poor behavior amongst the player base now?

It's always been this way. I had to give up on my troll SK at 43 (about 2 years ago) because of the min/max players. Well played to those who held out and made it to 60.

Camp disputes suck, yeah. But there's nothing inherently wrong with not wanting to group with someone else. Sounds like you're trying to lump a group of 3 trying to claim more mobs than they could actually deal with into some kind of random hate for people who like faster xp/dislike hybrids/have free will.

Swish, you don't have to do anything. Blaming other people for a choice you made is lame as fuck.

That was just an example. I have just had many little "situations" occur recently, and it is beginning to boggle my mind because in the past I dealt with childish behavior on other games way more frequently than on this server. I just wonder if it's catching on, that this free server is running and so, garbage players from other games are now arriving here.

Some times there are cool people that will get full groups going that aren't as "efficient".

Then there's times where there's two or three people at every camp. "sorry bro there's not enough spawns"
Even though they're taking 45 second to kill a DB and barely holding the camps.

I rarely group, but when I do I generally will just invite anyone regardless of exp penalty.

Generally I am just soloing or duoing. When I am doing that the person I play with and myself have varying play times so we sometimes have to log 5 minutes after getting on. This makes grouping with others not all that helpful since we kill 3 mobs together and have to get going. Also we don't type much cause voicechat, and keeping someone in the loop is more effort /leh sigh.

Not sure what zones you are talking about but if somebody doesn't want you in there group that is up to them, seems to be more post about people moaning about over camped, not enough mobs etc etc but most are unwilling to go to the tons of empty zones. (some nice ZEM dungeons are empty too if u want to take a group to them)

That's how I feel about it. I always have great geared toons, and easily could feel superior to lesser geared players but I never turn others away due to their gears or their class. If they can join and add anything, that's fine. I never min/max a low lvl group, in a low lvl dungeon it's just asinine and blocks others who want to xp/have fun from doing so. Just my perspective anyway.

You do what you like to do, and other people do what they like to do. If what someone likes is causing a real problem ingame, then petition it. If what someone likes simply isn't the same as what you like, then learn to deal with it.

I used to put together groups a lot more than I do now. That /who all bug is just so damn annoying when searching for people.
There's also some people like myself who have alts created just for grouping with friends. I don't want to invite you to my mnk/shm duo. Not because I won't appreciate you as a group member but because I'm literally playing my monk for the purposes of a duo.
