MQ my own ring 6?
Is it possibly to do the key part of the ring 7 on my main toon so that I can turn in my ring 6 from one of my other toons and then log off of him then log on my main and turn the key in to essentially MQ with my own two characters? Anyone done this? Chances of it failing at all?

Yes it is possible and yes there is a chance of it failing like any MQ.

I've done this with jboots. Turn in ring on ranger, then snare the gnome and log out. Log in other toon and give him the gold. It worked but it does leave a tiny window where someone could come along and snipe it.

have a friend bodyguard the turnin mob while you swap, to make sure someone else doesn't try the same thing while you are mid-MQ. Remember, GMs give 0 support for failed MQs (this is a written policy, I can't be bothered to find the link atm) so you want a friend to cover you while you swap.
