Default Problem with Lightning Blast (druid spell)

Trying to quad in OOT. Lightning Blast sometimes works, sometimes eats the mana with no spell effect, no dmg done, no spell effect messages. Just eats the mana & messes up a quad.

Were your target walking in / near water?

I had the same thing happen to me when quadding seafuries. If they were walking in the water (or too close from the shore), the mana was consumed but no damage was done to the targets.

As opposed to when they're underwater and i'm levitating above water, then the spell is interrupted (this would be classic behaviour).

By the way, I'm a wizard. So i guess your problem is not related to this particular druid spell, but to any targeted AE spells (i encountered this with Pillar wizard line spells).

Yeah someone explained this to me. Wasn't like this last time I played on the server. Made for a "fun" quad minus 700+ mana & not knowing why. Sometimes wonder why these little alterations are necessary but whatever.
