Default Two Problems

I am a new P99 player with a fresh install on Win10. Ryzen 1700x/Vega64, 32GB ram, SSD.

Mostly it runs good, but I have a couple of technical issues that keep occurring.

1. Sound - it works for a while and stops for long periods - but will start working again on its own. I cannot detect what is triggering it to go in and out, other than moving around the zone (any zone). I would say I only have sound about 30% of the time.

2. I have a 1440p monitor and am trying to play Fullscreen. It works ok in Fullscreen, but once in a while, which I click near the edge of the screen, it switches to Windowed mode at the same resolution. This window is offset with the bottom and right edges offscreen.
This also happens every time I alt-tab to the desktop. Anything I should try?

Update: I installed WinEQ2 and it partially fixed issue #2. It now remains stable in Windowed 1440p. I was trying to get Fullscreen to work, but I am happy that it is at least consistent.

It does have a white bar at the top that I cannot seem to change or offset away.

As for Sound, I now seem to have Music all the time after installing WinEQ2, but no game sound effects.
