I played from '99 to '02 or so. My primary was a Barby Shaman named Namice, and played on Povar.

I tried the Daybreak route before discovering ya'll. The mercenary thing seems a bit ridiculous, but necessary as going deep into dungeons alone is a very bad idea in EverQuest. I'll give Daybreak credit for running EverQuest - but offering to sell you level 85 is tacky.

IMHO a large corporation simply didn't deserve something as well designed as EverQuest; As we witnessed, the original team was all let go and the game became about economics, tainting a great game

I'll probably resurrect Namice because I really enjoy the versatility of a Shaman, and I need to defeat some Kithicor Guards. Once online I'll look for some guilds and go fishing.
