Default How Does the Ranger Dual Wield Bonus Work?

I keep hearing that at 51 the ranger gets a dual wield bonus which makes using 2 handers obsolete. I cannot find any documentation on how this works or what it entails. Does anyone have any details on what actually happens at 51 that makes such a change to their dual wield damage?

Scroll down to the damage bonus segment.

It's not a bonus specifically for dual wield, it's the 1h main hand damage bonus. People say that by lvl 51 your bonus has become significant enough that dual wielding is higher DPS than 2h, generally.

Remember you haven't had skill increases since level 39.

Dual wield doesn't work often at lower skill levels, so during the early game it's suggested you speak softly and carry a large stick.
I suspect skill caps between 39 and 51 are smoothed out with velious out. I've levelled several warriors and remember the caps being different levelling kunark vs velious.
