So how are the rest of us enjoying the game? I'm having fun. I managed to get through 9th and 10th level pretty quickly for me and made some money farming rabid wolf pelts in Qeynos Hills.

I hit level 39 and at the urging (constant nagging) of certain guildmates, I began learning alchemy! Selling SoW potions in the EC tunnel has added a whole new dimension to the game... [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Still having a great time on P99!

Same here with rabid animals in the hills. Just made 15... Might head over to Freeport and then Greater Faydark to fight some Orcs when I hit 16. After that? I have no idea, never even made it past level 14 or so when I used to play this game. I had so little time, and so many alts...

For some real drama free playtime, hit up the Siren rocks on your left just after entering OOT from FP.
2 lvl 12 or 13 sirens on a 6 min timer, don't help each other, don't cast, low hp, poor resists and AC.
The loot isn't stellar, but man is it relaxing.

And you get to listen to people fight over the AC and dino camps.

And seafuries. There is always so much drama over seafuries.

I wish I could be a n00b again..

Really wish I played more, it's tough. Not being in a guild and having no one I know who plays the game really kinda sucks, no one to talk to, so I just run around killing gnolls by myself. Grouping is sort of fun, but I feel like I could be getting better xp somewhere else so I frequently end up getting bored and logging off.

Real killer is just not being able to chat about dumb stuff while backstabbing gnolls to death...I need to be social while I game or I feel like I'm playing a single player game with the occasional AI controlled "players" that always nuke the mob I'm about to backstab because I'm being all roguey and sneak/hiding my way into backstabs.

Worth it? Probably not, but it's more fun to play like how I feel like I should be playing rather than shooting for massive efficiency. It'd be cool if sneaking wasn't quite so painfully slow. I read that you DO start moving faster while sneaking in kunark, confirm/deny on that? (Past 50 or whatever, that is)

I just joined a few weeks ago, and I LOVE it.

Level 32 now...I really should slow down on leveling. I grouped for one of the first times today in LGuk, and got trained real good. We were in BR (so asking to get trained,) basically the whole group died. Back in the old days, that would have resulted in shit throwing and loss of xp, but the IB members that did the training came back to rez us up. Shit happens, trains are part of any dungeon crawl, and all is well.

I'm playing this very casually, my main game is still EQMac on the Al'Kabor server. This is just something I do to pass time at work and on the days we are not raiding on AK. So far, it has been a blast, I should really slow down and enjoy every bit of classic content while I can.

thanks for the tip on the sirens, quellren.
Nice meeting you in game, too, torqumada.

Myself, I met some people that I would like to mabe do some tween and teen level grouping with against hard targets maybe 1 or 2 zones away from *cough* bind point lol. Just made level 12 and plan to see more of the world (again) May make plans to take a trip to Highpass, maybe even....Freeport! I heard so much of the east commons...

Completed some the nice hokey newbie quests in Odus and Qeynos.
and of course, delivered mail.
