Problem logging on/ "an unknown error has occured"

Ive been playing on this server for months, no problems accept for the occasional zone crash which restarting the client would fix. Since this morning I have had problems logging into the server. Some times I cant even get to the character selection screen because "an unknown error has occured". A few times i was able log in the game and i immediately crashed and could not log back in to the server. Ive tried restarting the client, my cpu, my modem, unplugging router. Everything I can think of. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I third that notion. 820pm cst here and unable to log in because of an unknown error. Tried the PEQ, and EZ, same result.

Same. Been trying to get online for the last hour and cannot log in to any server (Not just P1999), all result in the same message: "An unknown error occurred while trying to join the server."

ahh then its probably an issue with the log in server if multiple people are going through it. I just wanted to make sure It wasn't something wrong with my cpu.

Looks like the populations are slowly diminishing as well.

spoke to soon. appears to be only affecting certain people as they are on the rise again.

Ive been watching the population on each of my login attempts and it jumps from 800 to 720, back to 800. down, its all over the place

Happening here too. Was in the middle of a hero bracer transfer. I feel like it will be gone when I log back in =/
