Default I will miss my beastie, rolling a ranger

Played EQ for a long time, got my beastie epics etc and even used to spam my theme song on Mith Marr (I actually had random people request it lol).
But, beasties aren't in original EQ so I will probably roll a ranger. I look forward to seeing you all in game.

Why, thank you so much for telling me how I should have some fun! If you would like, please state exactly what I should play and how I should play it so I can just go ahead and quit playing before I get to level 4.

Ranger is a good beastlord alternative. I love hybrids, bards, and my ultimate archetype is a melee character who fights with an animal companion. EQ doesn't have this so Ranger and Bard are good alternative [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I played a BL from PoP onwards and loved it, most of the utility of a shaman but with the ability to put out some big melee damage with you and the pet.

If moon cats ever occurred I'd be on it like a tramp on hot chips (a phrase that won't make any sense in the US)
Man I wish it did make sense that sounds hilarious
