Default Character select screen

OK, probably (hopefully) my last post in this section!

Got to the character select/character creation screen, but there's no interface on the screen with lists of races/classes...just the human "Newbie" and the background.

Any suggestions? :P

No matter which resolution I use it goes to a square windowed box (about 25% of the total screen).

Very odd.

Had a moment of clarity...

Alt+enter... this maximised the screen but merely stretched it and still does not show what should be displayed to the left and right.

If only I could make a character! lol.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Will donate $5 to Project 1999 for an answer that leads to being able to play! :P

It's the same for all servers I've tried, so I don't think it's something specific to P1999, I've asked in the EQemulator forums as well but no response yet.

Any resolution I pick in the options still results in the same sized windowed box on reaching the character select screen - and going to full-screen just stretches what is displayed there.

Usually I'm quite good at fixing these kinds of problems but this has really foxed me.

For the record I definitely haven't updated.
