Has it been announced who it is and when they start?

I am personally more excited about the new Dev tweaking the existing PvP mechanics then reading thread after thread about the new server's possible rule set.

If I were the new pvp dev..

Week 1 : All clickies nerfed or changed.
Week 2-3 : A ton of resist changes
Week 4: Four level pvp range with new flagging system for OOR people.

4 lvl range and clickie nerf could easily be done week 1. resists is whats gonna take some tweaking.

Thats true, main thing is going through the list of clickies and changing the data. Might need some feedback from some people so 1-2 days in reality. The four level range thing might take more time then you realize to test and tweak.

i just hope there is some serious discussion, testing, and balancing with resists.

dont just flip the switch and make everything resistible with 40 mr. honestly it only needs to be toned down a little as far as root goes. definitely need to look into highsun and other jacked up spells tho.

I dont think it needs to be completely redone. Just needs to be tweaked at this point.

Highsun, mage pet root, nukes are all that need to be looked at in my opinion. Roots aren't that bad on here.
