Something to cry about
Are we done coming to a project 1999 server/ forums to complain about stupid shit?.. What does project 1999 mean.. Sure as hell doesn't mean : yellow text, leaderboards, fast exp, global ooc, no waiting for boats... Timed charm? Help me out with the rest but here is the point.. You cry babies want all this shit added yet you forget what the fucking server is based off of.. CLASSIC PVP.. Unless you clowns were 5 years old when this shit came out you would know we had none of this.. Enjoy the server or leave.. Still dont see a reason why the devs have to respond to every retard trying to change a classic server around when it's fine how it is... I dont remember sending a GM a fucking tell in 1999 and it's not needed here either.... So you either got what it takes to play a classic game Or you have been brainwashed by fast paced world of warcraft games and like shit servers that cater to little kids who cant hang so they bitch all day on the forums trying to bring down everyone else wanting to play here.. The devs have done nothing wrong.. The problem is shit community we have playing here.. Bunch of tools going back and forth to each other on forums about the stupidest shit. Lol. Suck it up and play.. WTF is the problem?? Did we like skip life all together these past 12 years?? Grow the fuck up and have a little fun.. Enjoy what u got cause all The new games are shit.

Andis, this is your wake up call. Red99 is the only and 99.9999 percent last legit classic red EQ server that is ever going to be. Do you really want your last action on it getting rolled for 5 hours straight in lavastorm and failing to kill even a single raid target? Not a good look bro, not a good look. Teams hasn't offered anything that could even hypothetically help the server.
One of the biggest gripes about the server is the lack of pvp, and that would reduce potential pvp by 33-50% depending if it was 2 or 3 team. All the "objectives" that people claim they have as part of a faction are immediately gained upon joining a guild. Voila, wtf? Theres nothing more that can be gained by changes to rulesets. The people that claim they want "moar peeveepee" can't be pleased by teams (if more pvp isn't just an excuse - which it is). People who claim they want item loot would end up fleeing the server faster than Holo and FF upon dying and losing anything of value. The server is what it is. Exp is currently on bonus; there was just a bonus weekend, and kunark should be open shortly. Play or don't.

Nothing is to "blame" just the facts are this is basically unplayable by most standards. I mean EQ is just not fun to me and I would guess many others with under 100 people playing not to mention under 20.
Whatever it would take to make the population go over 100 and mantain that population is what I would be in favor of. Trying some different things like teams (which is classic) couldn't possibly have a lower population then there is now. Not really in favor of un-classic changes like increased exp or YT, but if it's whats required to mantain ANY kind of pop then I guess I would get behind it | ||
