Default Pre-Luclin Skeleton / Wolf models.

I know that the installer currently uses the newest models of some of the old characters... however one in particular really bugs me. Is it possible to retrieve the old skeleton models? I believe there were two, the dry bones (brown) and the regular skeleton (white) used.

Would be wondrous to get these back to classic mode.

This is mentioned elsewhere, a search will probably find it.

Short answer is no, you can't get them back.

We have not found a 100% solution to this.

You can kinda get wolves back. Current downside is.. they are too small, and their movement animation is too slow. You can still try this if you'd like by adding a line to your globalload.txt file. I recommend backing up the file first.
In everquestinstallfolder/resources/globalload.txt, add this line to the top, and resave it.

Not responsible for crazy graphics problems :PP

Code:
1,0,TFFF,growthplane_chr,Loading Characters

btw, this does change shaman pets.

Damn, nice work... Let me load in my Kunark discs and see where the skeletons may be saved!

If only it were that easy. Believe us, its a lot more complicated than that. Its not a matter of finding the old skeleton models - those are sitting right in your EQ folder. Its a matter of making a 2005 client display them. There are ways to do it, but the brown "darkbone" skeletons are gone forever. And I don't think any necro wants to walk around with a level 49 skeleton that looks like their level 1 pet...
