EQ will not launch

EQ will not launch after extracting files in the directory.
Geting the message application failed to initialize properly (0xc000001d). Click on OK to terminate the application.

anyone know how to fix this problem im having? Some others having same problem also

I'm having the same issue, i checked what uaellaen suggested and it was already set properly, still not able to log in.

Its something to do with the patched dsetup.dll file is what is making eq not want to lauch

AMD athlon(tm) XP 2100+

Ok, Im running an AMD athlon(tm) XP 2800+ also and get the same problem. It looks like it is the same problem as with the eqmain.dll before. Are you running and AMD also wert6?
