Default int soft caps?

I know the old int soft cap is 200, does this go up after level 50 at all? at what point does it make sense to push past 200 into to 250 or w/e?

I am level 51 with 208 int, should I start to focus more on raw mana or keep pushing for a bit more int?

Focus on HP/AC IMO.

Do you really ever find yourself thinking: 'Man, I need more mana'?

no, but I dont find my self saying man I wish I had more HP either , If i am getting hit that much either I am doing something very wrong or the tank is .

ideally the goal in the end will be to be well rounded with solid HP and AC and all that good stuff , but for the meantime I am just wondering post 50 what the int soft cap is?

I've heard differing reports about the softcap (i'm sitting at exactly 200int so I can't tell ya lol).

The gain is definitely less per int then when you're below 200, but i've heard it's not as drastic as it was on live. If you can, try and take off 1-2 points of int while you're above 200 and see how much your mana drops. That should tell you how much mana per int you get.

Maybe once I get around to upgrading some equipment I'll experiment and report on this.

My vote will still be to up your AC/HP for when you DO get hit (especially if you're trying to solo).

And if you don't need mana OR ac OR hp, why bother wasting the money to upgrade?

try to stay around 200 and replace any other slot with mana item.

soft cap is 200 to my best knowledge
past 200 you get HALF as much mana per INT

however, at lev 60, even at half rate that extra 50 INT (250 over 200) = 300 extra mana

so, just see what is easier to get - 50 in INT or 300 in mana
