Default Noob Mage looking for Guild and some Questions

G'Day all,

This is my first time playing this game. I used to watch a friend play this game for hours when I was a kid,
It has intrigued me ever since. Now I'm here and having an absolute blast!

I'm looking for an Australian/OCE guild to join as I am really really enjoying my adventures thus far and would like to delve deeper in,
I love the fact that I have no clue as to what I'm doing/should be doing. No hand holding here and its glorious!

Currently, I'm a level 4 Erudin Magician named Aammune on the Blue server trying to make his way through the Toxxulia Forest.

Also while Im here a few Questions,
  • Should I stay in Toxxulia Forest or go to this Freeport that I keep reading about?
  • Best Mage pet to use at my level?
  • Is there anyway to see my ping?
  • Where are the servers located?
  • Is there a recommended VPN/Tunnel to use?

Thanks guys,

Aammune, The Magician.

Welcome to p99! As far as your timezone, I think the only real options for active guilds are either Europa or Infernus? I would send their members a tell to see if that makes sense.
Stay in Toxx for now.
All of your pets will be useful early on tbh.
The latency icon is turned on/off by F11 I believe.

Earth pet till about 16, then chain summon fire pets all the way to 50s, Then use water pet in groups to 60.

Server is located in Chicago I believe. (someone correct me if i'm wrong. it's no longer NC)

You can do Tox -> Warrens
or ask a druid/wiz to get you out of tox and bind you at freeport.

Maybe look into Material Continuum. I do know that there are some Australian players in there.
