Default Good "semi-afk" 40+ camp?

I'm done with Paw now since it started to green out. But it was nice because during off hours I generally could pop in and kill some stuff and didn't need to worry if I had to afk.

I've read some posts and it seems like Dreadlands along a wall is kind of like that. But gosh that sounds brutal. At least with the Paw stuff I could break things up by running across WK to turn in scrolls [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] .

I tried Specs in Feerrot for the first time, and it was not bad, but it was pretty late and there were still 2 people there so I'm not sure I will be able to get much kills during more popular hours.

Are there some nice spots that one can solo and duo in this very "spur of the moment" kind of gameplay style? I'd love to group, but I feel committed in a group and a sense of obligation to play (usually) much longer than I can afford.

Thanks.

It's not all "AFK camps", but it's a pretty big list (there are 22 locations for 40-44) of places you can solo, many of which can be done "AFK" style. For instance, if you don't mind losing Gnome faction the second item on the list (Happ) is a perfect AFK solo kill (if you set a timer you could even camp between kills).

My personal favorite in that range though was killing Troll guards in Grobb: they're rarely camped (and even if they are there's enough that two people can usually share them), and if you want you could just do the first one (I think his name was Basher Sutok?) over and over between "AFK at zoneline" breaks.

Hill giants in Rathe....there are a couple spawn points close together where you can reliably get giants before the troll farmers get them.

Ogre guards are good until troll guards.

Dreadlands lower 40s. Higher 40s City of Mist temple has 5nor 6 spawns you can single pull.

Outdoor zones like Emerald Jungle are good...mobs there don't have very high HPs and it's always empty. The three Barbarian guards in Everfroat by the tundra...they suck for money though.

Erudan guards are paladins and the staff they drop doesnt sell for anything. I did them at the dock on my nec but they stun, root, LoY, and there are no corners to break LoS. Palace might be better because there are corners.

Ogguk then Grobb have been good. I'm going to take on the Dreadguard and Wolves of the North next. Ive done a lot of Qeynos and FP guards too. Dwarves at the docks. My Ikky shaman is cool with the Bloodsabres only.

DL skeles south of port ins are amazingly safe and you can go to 51-52 on them.

So much to look into! Thanks for the suggestions definitely looking forward to some new scenery... just camped a brutal 1.5 days in Permafrost for a +4 wis cloak. Think I would have been better off farming the coin from selling rat whiskers instead.
