Sell or Quest Bone Chips
Hello, new player here. Just hit level 5 after farming skeletons outside of Qeynos and I have a heap of bone chips that I'd like to put to use.
I've seen some guides recommend selling them for a decent chunk of starting plat, and others telling me to turn them in for exp. Somewhere I saw that this exp got nerfed however. Can anyone give a solid case for either option? I want to make the best use of these. Thanks! | ||

Sell. You will need 60 stacks minimum to make a dent in any exp you want out of them.

If you want to turn them in for exp and aren't an evil race, head to Kaladim and turn them in at the Paladin guild. Exp is not nerfed on p99.
Otherwise, just sell them.

Probably best to sell them. A couple full backpacks' worth would take you to about level 8, for example, but 160p toward spells or hp rings or a decent weapon would do more good for you in the long run if you're starting from scratch.

If I was stuck in the Qeynos area and not interested in PLing in Kaladim nor playing the EC game then I'd sit on my bone chips until I decided to head to warrens to turn them in enroute in Erudin (provided I had the faction).

The only place worth questing them is Kaladim. a few bag fulls will get you from 6 to 12 no problem. The EXP drops off drastically around 12-13. However, if you're new here as you stated, I would highly recommend selling them at 10 pp a stack and put the plat towards the incredibly cheap inventory of gear on this server. The time it takes to level to 12 is pretty trivial to the return you will get from having decent gear, not to mention being able to sell said gear and get your money back after you've upgraded.

Thanks for the advice everyone! It seems like their worth to other players is far more than what I could normally make at this level so I ended up selling them in EC for 10/stack
This allowed me to by some +hp/+mana gear and a weapon, which seems far better in the long run than a level of EXP. | ||
