Default Lvl 18 Rogue, what should I strive for?

Never got past level 12-13 with a Human Paladin on Classic Live, so as a lvl18 Rogue, what should I strive for?

Someone extremely generous gave me two daggers, Sebilite_Croaking_Dirk being my Primary and bluntly stated I won't need another till I get my Rogue Epic when I started playing. Then another player freely gave me forgot what its called (Server wonky right now) that has a lvl-30 Proc.

So I'm good there it seems, yet there's so many "great" daggers and possibly other weapons, and armor, Idk where to start, what quests to take, or farm. Honestly, EQ being old, the quest system is archaic and I don't see it taking tract of anything, nor identifying quest-givers easily and accessibly.

I heard Banded Armor is the first major Rogue set you should need to start acquiring. Don't have anything from that. Need too.

I even thought about pickpocketing Sand Giants in Oasis, whilst building Faction with Grobb while leveling up in Upper-Guk. I read on the Wiki SG's yield 10-50pp. But I'm confused from searching up posts upon this, that whether SG's truly detect Invis players or not. Many different claims, and whether P99 is adhering to the original reality of SG's within Oasis.

Any advice is appreciated.

Yeah you're set on your MH dagger for a long time. I didn't get a Seb dirk until after I was in my 50s and won my first ever Hiero. It phat loot back then. IIRC it was one of the best pre-epic stabbers.
I'd get a set of banded just so you're not naked. Then work on 5/55 rings and strength gear.
Regarding you're offhand, proc's are bad. But keep using it until you can find a better ratio offhand weapon w/o a proc.

Excellence!

And str so you poke harder ^^ cheap items for that:

Amber earrings
Bloodstained mantle
Jagged bands
Sarnak hide mask
fire emerald bracelets

More spendy, but still cheap:

Treeweave
Hero bracer
Mithril Arms/Legs
Thick banded belt
Fire emerald rings

Depending on the damage of the other dagger, you may want to consider trying out weapon swapping for back stabs. Seb dirk has a great ratio, but things like frozen shard will backstab a lot harder since they have a higher damage. An easy thing you can do to get the better BS damage while keeping the seb dirk in your main hand is put both weapon slots on your hotbar, then pick up the higher damage weapon and put it in primary just before hitting BS, then switch back. With practice it should only take a second to do that.

As for other stuff:

Keep an eye out for dwarven work boots, bloodstained mantle and jagged band if you level in unrest.
Do the same for crested helm and hooded black cloak in mistmoore.
There are plenty of other drops to get too, and leveling in dungeons that both give good xp *and* drop upgrades for you is always an easy way to get geared. But don't pass up a juicy xp group just because you want a minor upgrade at a different camp - xp is a bigger upgrade than a few strength.

However, if you do get bored of the xp grind, you should be perfectly capable of grinding some cash with those weapons. At your current level, wisps in NK would probably be the most lucrative (can turn in greater light stones for a book that vendors for 10 plat and some xp). Really you're just looking for any camp that you can slice through so fast that the mobs won't be able to do much damage to you, since you can't heal easily.
