Default Lavastorm

Account name is Darkelf Rules. Character name is Lucichaosity.

The toon is currently in Lavastorm. I traversed from Nektulos forest into Lavastorm.
The toon is stuck in a lavastorm that has flowing lava, no players can be seen, though/who brings the list of players in lavastorm, and imps etc are in the shape of humans and human guards. Petition removed me once from this. I went back to lavastorm from nektulos to see if the issue would repeat. It did. I still have Luci stuck in a lavastorm version that I should not be in.

Both times I zoned from nek forest into lavastorm

Need to fix your zone files.

Quote:
Once that is completed, the following files must be DELETED or MOVED OUT OF the Titanium directory:

arena.eqg
arena_EnvironmentEmitters.txt
lavastorm.eqg
nektulos.eqg
Nektulos_EnvironmentEmitters.txt

Failure to delete these files will result in problems accessing certain zones.

Default Negative results

I did the following:
Once that is completed, the following files must be DELETED or MOVED OUT OF the Titanium directory:

arena.eqg
arena_EnvironmentEmitters.txt
lavastorm.eqg
nektulos.eqg
Nektulos_EnvironmentEmitters.txt

Failure to delete these files will result in problems accessing certain zones.

My toon is still stuck in the lavastorm version with lavaflows. I sent a test toon into the zone with the same results.

I don't understand how the files for the lavastorm have changed. I have been in and out of Lavastorm several time and never had an issue in the past. Any suggestions rather that a complete delete and reinstall?

do you have EQ installed into the default /program files folder?

Reinstall into a fresh directory something like C:\EQP99 then make a copy of the install so you can drag and drop it later if you want to reinstall instead of using ISOs/CDs.

I have a separate folder EQ1999 that I installed the cd download into. No EQ is NOT in the Program Files folder.

In another separate folder I have P99Files42 with files that have been removed from the EQ1999 cd install.

When 1999 downloads are done from the EQ1999 website, they are placed in the EQ1999 folder.

Does this help or answer the above response? I sort of fell behind the innerworkings of Windows after windows 98 and I now struggle to keep up. getting old and long in the tooth kind of sux sometimes [You must be logged in to view images. I has suddenly worked correctly. I'm not sure what fixed it, as I simply re downloaded the p99files 42 files. All is good in my EQ world. Thank you for replies.
