Dreadlands : Lost Vallley to Main Area

In the yeti tunnel between the dreadlands lost valley and the main zone area, there only ever seems to be 1 tundra yeti. My memory says you passed a few roaming in there when running through that tunnel, but finding proof of this is difficult.
