I fully support wikipedia, and I'm surprised that as it's grown in popularity over the years, that it's somehow been able to keep up on bandwith costs. I never see ads, and I'd say sure donations, but this is the first time I've ever seen them request donations.

Funny thing is, they probably have gotten so much cash. So much cash that it could pay Tralina's rent! oh dang!
