Merchants: Quantity Bug

A vendor said it had quantity 17 Large Sewing Kits. I bought one, and the item vanished off the list. If I resold it, the quantity available was again listed as 17.

Did you check to see if it had just moved lower down the list since it now had a quantity of 16 sewing kits, putting it under anything with a higher quantity?

Its a known bug thats been around for years. Some items will list their slot number on the merchant instead of actually listing how many of that item they are carrying.

Figured it was known. I've been away and am out of touch, but duly noted. Odd that it listed 17 on an 8 slot container either way.

No Sorn, it didn't move down the list. Cmon, I'm better than that.

I know the bug Thulack's talking about. It usually happens with containers. I haven't seen these items vanish from the vendor list after purchase, though. That's why I was asking. :P

17 is the slot number on the merchant invisible inventory list.

If they only had 1 of the container(it was sold to them) then it would disappear.
