Default Black screen when starting EQ.

Hey, I haven't played EQ in years, level 60 cap at the latest, and wanted to get into it again. Problem is, after installing my EQ Titanium and following the 2 guides I start it up and it just goes to full black screen. I get the EQ UI mouse graphic, but everything else remains black no matter what I press. I tried installing it twice. I run windows 7. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Have you verified the desktop resolution is the same as the height and width parameters in eqclient.ini?

Not sure where EQclient.ini is located. I find this named eqclient in the main directory and it's contents are:

[Defaults]
Sound=TRUE
TextureQuality=1
VertexShaders=TRUE
20PixelShaders=TRUE
14PixelShaders=TRUE
1xPixelShaders=TRUE
MultiPassLighting=FALSE
UseLitBatches=TRUE

But there's nothing about resolution settings. Wrong file?

That looks like the right file, but mine contains a whole lot more information, including:

[VideoMode]
Width=1920
Height=1080
WidthWindowed=1920
HeightWindowed=1080
WindowedWidth=1920
WindowedHeight=1080

Yeah, I figured it out. I just added a Windowedmode:True line or something and that fixed it. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Oh, one more thing. Can I use the char model improvement on this server?

That is the correct file, you jus have the folder option to hide known file type extensions on. If you want you can turn that off by going to tools>folder options. Try loadin up the game and hittin alt+ente to switch to winnowed mode then bring up options when you get in the game and change your clients resolution to match your monitors/desktops.

Your client is mos likely empty because it probably has to be written to at least once o logout.
