Default Wu's quivering staff at level 20?

just hit 18 on my monk ... have 2 knuckle dusters (14/28) and a WQS (23/28). Once the damage cap is lifted at 20 will WQS put out more damage?

The damage calculator spreadsheet I use starts at level 25, but the WQS slightly outdoes two KD's all the way to 60.

WQS is pretty nice through the 20's but in the 30's you'll probably want to look at two SoS's or similar.

I used WQS from 20 to 30 then switched to Peacebringer - 29 or 30 is when the last damage cap comes off.

Plus, 2her's are just better for soloing - less damage incoming due to less ripostes and your own ripostes do more.

Yes. Prior to level 20 you were probably doing 28-29 damage per hit consitently. Damage cap being lifted at 20 is huge as you will now be doing 46+ damage per hit max.

IMO if you have a haste item, leveling (if your solo anyways) is best with the 2hander. Peacebringer is for sure the next best target to go for in the 2hb category.

Yep do have FBSS but beyond that it's really just the basics (cured silk, 55hp rings etc). Nothing fancy though, will need to farm up a bit of cash for a PB or IFS.

Once you hit 20, I would definitely jump to the Wu's Quivering Staff, because you have an FBSS. Can prolly get it for 150pp.

From that point, save the cash until you can "upgrade" to the PB.

PB really that much better than IFS? I hate the weight on PB [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

IFS probably averages out to more damage over a longer fight where misses even out and it's not so punishing to miss with your high delay weapon.

However, since you are theoretically soloing blues/low blues the faster Peacebringer should win out.

Also, 2h damage bonus doesn't scale with delay until end of Velious when they revamp 2-handers. Right now in the timeline, 2-handers have the same damage bonus as 1-handers.
