Windowed mode black screen

If I minimize the window usually when I come back its just a black screen. Sometimes if I only bring another window up in front of the game it gives me a black screen. Any fix or workaround? Also im using WinEQ.

Work around: alt + enter to full screen then alt + enter to go back windowed.
