Crashing while opening EQ

I just installed everything last night and it worked perfectly. Then this morning when I click on the EQ shortcut I get this message:

eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

could be memory, but i doubt it. Try re-installing

That happened to me. You're emu is trying to patch. Make sure you follow directions to do the shortcut!
