NPC Spawn Issue: An ancient croc/PHers not spawning in UGuk

Been here for about an hour, nothing in this room spawning. Looks like I stayed up late to avoid FoH for nothing :P

Well I assumed that it was a spawn issue that was, for the time being, unique to the pvp server.

Ancient Croc is the recruitment officer for FoH. he is on shifts at the moment irl so goes to bed early

been broken for years and reported several times, "fixed" once maybe? There are a couple problems with it as far as I know, one that it will stop spawning, two that it will overcompensate eventually after doing so, three that sometimes they will social aggro when they shouldn't

I've "fixed" it probably 30+ times in game. The way this works is.. due to the unique spawn specifics of the group (1-5), this had to be written in perl. Originally, it would break by simultaneously killing placeholders. Fixed that, and had no problems for a while. A few times I spawned their controller to do additional tests.. that would be the overcompensation you experienced. I see no way they can social aggro..they have a very small aggro radius, but ignore their primary assist. It might seem like they assist if you wander within the radius of two of them.

I will look into writing a script checker to automate this fix until the underlying cause is found.

they have most certainly socially aggroed on me before but i will admit i havent been to the camp in several months
