In a time before legends were made,
In the realms beyond the known galaxy's glade;
A celestial dragon reigned supreme,
Her name was Veeshan, ruler of the Sky's gleaming team.

The Crystalline Dragon roamed free,
Observing worlds with a watchful eye;
And when her gaze fell upon Norrath,
She found this land pleasing, vast and ripe for growth.

With the touch of her mighty claw,
Veeshan carved a path from the heavens to the ground;
For the world of Norrath was not without strife,
And she knew that balance must soon be found.

A frozen continent lay waiting;
Its name was Velious, with an icy heart unwavering;
This land would serve as their new home,
For Veeshan and her magnificent brood to roam.

From the skies they descended like falling stars,
As if a beacon shining from afar;
Creatures of all shapes and sizes followed in their wake,
A symphony of beauty and strength combined without mistake.

The dragons took their place upon the ice,
Each scale reflecting the world's strife;
Norrath trembled beneath their might,
As a new era began - The Age of Scale in its full sight.

Through darkness and light, they would reign,
Bringing life where none had been before;
Their presence challenged the world to grow,
A catalyst for change like never before.

Legends would be born in their wake,
As the mortal races took to heart the dragons' might;
But whether friend or foe they remained,
The Age of Scale was a testament to the power of Veeshan's reign.

Thus began an age that would never be forgotten,
A saga weaved into the very fabric of Norrath;
The world now bore witness to a tale untold,
As the children of Veeshan embraced their destinies in the cold.

There were all sorts of EQ sites back in the day. Class sites. Trade skill sites. Map sites.

Were there any old school EQ websites that collected EQ fanfiction, player stories, and other fan lore?

Seems like there is a missing honey pot of old EQ roleplay material that I don't know about somewhere in the Wayback Machine. It would be cool to rediscover.

I doubt you will find much, there was a book about ocean of tears. The info I used to write the poems was about 3 paragraphs. From the eq lore wiki website. I did one for each age, will post one every other week or so. As I was reading the lore, I was thinking why were they not written in poetic format, kind of like how a bard would present it. Any way I hope you all like them or at least find them interesting.
